Prugnolo

“Prugnolo” is the name of Prunus Spinosa, decorative bush growing close to our vineyards. Its blue-purple berries ripen in autumn, around harvesting time. Obtained from the noble vine variety Nebbiolo, “Prugnolo” is a firm wine, product of a careful selection of grapes coming from the terracing of Valtellina Superiore. Aged in small oak barrels, it is extremely enjoyable since its youth.
Recommended serving temperature: 16° - 18°.

Inferno

Wine coming from the smallest and rockiest subzone of Valtellina Superiore, stretching over a series of terracing perched on living rock. Red, slightly rough in its early days, tends to soften with ageing and is characterized by its peculiar smell and body. Excellent with red meat and game, pairs perfectly also with mature cheeses.
Recommended serving temperature: 16° - 18°.

Sassella

It is the product of the best-known Valtellina Superiore’s subzone. Red wine that develops particularly agreeable characteristics already after two three years. It is specially recommended for red meat, but it can be perfectly combined with hearty first courses and semi-mature cheeses. For long ageing, it is advisable to keep the bottle lying down in a cool place at a constant temperature.

Grumello

Wine coming from Valtellina Superiore’s subzone, named after the castle dating back to 13th century. Red wine with great personality and good body and structure, to drink preferably from the third year after production. It is ideal with red meat, game, quite substantial first courses, as well as semi-mature cheeses. For ageing it is advisable to keep the bottle lying.
Recommended serving temperature: 16° - 18°.
